Launcher 7: Converts your Android into Windows Phone 7

Launcher 7: Converts your Android into Windows Phone 7

Launcher 7: Converts your Android into Windows Phone 7. Launcher 7 is an android launcher app that gives your android phone, a complete WP7 look and functions. This amazing launcher replaces all your android interface with its smooth wp7 interface. The developer of the app had put all his efforts to mimic WP7 interface, and make you feel like a Windows User. I would appreciate him for his hard work as all the functions possible are put into this launcher. I spent few days with it as my daily launcher and it changed the way I work by phone. Let's see more of it:

The Interface
Launcher 7: Converts your Android into Windows Phone 7
The interface of the launcher  7 is completely same as WP7 interface, as it mimics all the metro tiles along with the application dock. The launcher's flow and functions are very smooth. All the animations like tiles fly out, fly in, sliding to application dock, etc. are mimicked very well. Putting live tiles on home screen is also possible just as in WP7. Live tiles are also no exception in imitating.  To move or edit the tiles long press on that tile and it is all same as Windows phone 7. The color of the tiles can also be changed from one stock accents to another or to any of your desired color. The rotation of tiles on rotating your phone is very cool to see. All the tiles rotate simultaneously leaving a good impression on the user.

The application dock also mirrors Windows Phone perfectly. For Android users this dock style is totally different from the android's dock style, as it doesn’t have that row icon pattern. It only has a single column in list style, icons arranged in alphabetic order. The search button is again same and the arrow button looks same with its perfect animations.

Functionality
Apart from its Interface, this launcher is a master at customization too. This launcher brings all possible functionality to you. Even the finest settings can also be altered in launcher 7. On Home Screen all tiles can be edited completely, whether you want live or not, stock icons or custom icons, tile colors, and everything else.  One can also enable WP7 style status bar from Launcher 7 settings.  Indications like unread message count, missed calls count, unread mails count all are possible. Resizing the tiles would obviously be possible.  There are countless functions available like changing background, changing wallpaper, animation options, status bar options, widget view access options, etc. There is no shortage of settings in the Launcher 7.

More WP7 apps
Although Launcher 7 is the best app to convert your Android phone to windows phone but it only imitates the home screen and application dock. To give a more natural effect to your Android phone You can refer to my below apps:

Improvements Possible
I was unable to find any further improvements in the app, if you find it, mention them in your comments below. The app is already in its best state.

Overall
Overall, Launcher 7 is only the perfect app that can convert your Android phone into Windows Phone. Launcher 7 gives you full functionality with its beautiful and smooth metro interface. Launcher 7 mirrors the Windows Phone Perfectly as needed. My Rating to Launcher 7 is 100% i.e. 10/10.

Enable Start Menu in windows 8

Enable Start Menu in windows 8. Yes, that’s right. You can bring that lovely Start Menu and Start Button back on Windows 8 too. Add Quick Shutdown & Restart Button to windows 8!

Add Quick Shutdown & Restart Button to windows 8!

So finally, the most waited Windows OS  i.e. Windows 8 has been launched yesterday. Thousands of people downloaded windows 8, and even before tons of people were using some of the available previews. The major problem that most of the people face with Windows 8 is the absence of shutdown and restart shortcuts. Presently the user has to open the settings from the charm and had to click on POWER button and then shutdown/restart. This is quite a lengthy process as compared to previous Windows OS versions.

What I think is that why always the Windows developer fail to categorize the Shutdown Button at right place. In previous versions of Windows OS the Shutdown Button was placed inside the Start Button, that makes no sense. If User wishes to shutdown(leave) the Computer then why he/she would go to the Start Button. And now in Windows 8 also I didn't found any sense placing Shutdown Controls inside Settings Panel. I never categorize shutdown option as a Setting.

Whatever be the thinking behind the Shutdown Button, I want my Shutdown Button to be quickly accessed by me. If you are also willing to access Shutdown Button quickly then here's a very easy article on bringing your Shutdown Button back. Just follow the following screenshots:

  1. Right click on Desktop, select New, select Create Shortcut.
Add Quick Shutdown & Restart Button to windows 8! 2.  A dialog box will appear. Type following lines for corresponding Button:
Shutdown Button:
 shutdown /s /t 3
Restart Button:
shutdown /r /t 3

Add Quick Shutdown & Restart Button to windows 8!

  1. Name the Shortcut on the Next window and click on Finish button.
  1. By default it has no icon. You can give it an icon image by clicking on Choose Icon button in Properties of the shortcut.
  2. At last, right click on the each shortcuts and click on PIN TO START option.
Add Quick Shutdown & Restart Button to windows 8! 6. Arrange your Shutdown & Restart tiles according to your convenience, and you are done!

6 Steps to protect Your kids On the Internet

6 Steps to protect Your kids On the Internet

As we all know the internet is vast network providing almost every kind of information from all around the world in no time. This sounds great, but everything in this world has its own pros and cons, and the internet is no exception. The ultimate facility that the internet provides itself becomes a danger to kids. It's very important for every parent to see that their kids stay safe on the internet. Obviously, every information and fact should be revealed at a particular age. But the internet gives access to all information at any age which is not safe for kids.

So how to ensure that weather your child is safe on the internet? The very first thought in the parent's mind could be the elimination of internet from kid's lives. But if there's an internet connection on your PC, so obviously your child will be willing to use it without knowing the dangers of the internet. And it can be little rude attitude to prevent your kid using the internet. And also it doesn’t make any sense to ban internet access for children just for certain reasons, while ignoring the useful profits it can provide.

That means it is very important to take internet safety precautions, before permitting children, teenagers use the internet. Below I had gathered 10 steps to protect your kids on the internet that will help them to stay safe on the internet:

                1. Enable Firewall: Enable your Windows Firewall or download a new Firewall from internet, like ZONEALARMS Firewall (http://www.zonealarm.com/security/en-us/zonealarm-pc-security-free-firewall.htm). Firewalls keep an eye on everything entering and leaving your computer and thus protecting your kids against the most common computer hacking attacks and cyber criminals. Turn on the essential settings in firewall required for our purpose.
                2. Install Anti-Spyware: installing an Anti-Spyware program on your computer protects your kids against the most dangerous and commonly found malware threats on the internet. This will also protect against unwanted pop-up ads, spying cookies, etc. recommended Anti-Spyware tools are SpySweeper & SpyBot.
                3. Install Antivirus: An Antivirus program protects your computer from dangerous virus, worms, and Trojans on the internet. This is an important step to stay safe on the internet. Recommended software are Norton internet Security, McAfee
                4. Enable Safe Search: Enable safe search on Google by following this link (http://www.google.com/preferences). I strongly recommend all parents to explore Google Family Center (http://www.google.co.in/intl/en/goodtoknow/familysafety/).
                5. Child Safety Programs: Browse and download some good Child Safety Programs that provides
Internet safety for children. These programs can block pornography content, restrict the amount of time the computer can be used, stops file sharing, protect personal information etc. recommended software are NetNanny,
                CyberPatrol, etc.
                6. Educate Kids: Nothing can replace Good Values, Education, and Talking to your child. Educate and explain your child about both positive & negative sides of the internet. Place Your Computer in a place where another responsible adult can keep an eye on the child's activity. Know when your kids are surfing the internet. Know who your  kids are chatting with.

At last I would like to tell all parents that in spite of few disadvantages make sure that your child is taking full advantage of wonderful resources available on the Internet. In todays world if your child is not adequately exposed to technology, computers and the internet, then he is at a disadvantage compared to his peers.

Improvements Possible
Though Glow Hockey 2 is the best android hockey game yet, but everything has room for improvement and so Glow Hockey 2 has. One possible improvement I think is that online or Bluetooth/Wi-Fi multiplayer play mode should be introduced to Glow Hockey 2 so that the best android hockey game yet would become more interesting and fun to play.(specially on small screen devices). Another improvement is about the lag of the game that often happens on slow android devices.

To play Glow Hockey 2 your device should have following specifications:
1.       Android 2.3(Gingerbread) or above
2.       Multi-touch

8 Good reasons to Upgrade to Windows 8

8 Good reasons to Upgrade to Windows 8

Tomorrow is the launch of latest Operating System from windows series. i.e. Windows 8. If you are still having trouble in deciding whether to upgrade to windows 8 or not then I can help you a bit by presenting  8 good reasons to upgrade to windows 8. My primary aim of writing this post is to clear the confusion from people's mind that windows 8 have been just same as its previous version windows 7 but with a slightly new user interface and a new start window.  So here are the reasons:-
  1. Faster boot up speed: No one thought that the booting  of windows 8 could be so quick compared to previous windows versions. Not only booting speed is improved but shutting down your device is also now a  few seconds work. With faster booting and shutting down process windows 8 is very quicker to use.
  1. Refresh/Reset: This is a new feature introduced in windows 8 letting users to reset windows to factory settings, which proves to be useful in case of malware infections, or just for a clean start. Refresh keeps all of your user profiles, data and apps in place, while wiping programs you've installed. Reset is much more extreme and clears out all of your personal files and apps, and changes the PC’s settings to the defaults.
  1. Windows Defender: This is a standalone antivirus tool offered along with windows 8. It is the successor of Security Essentials in windows 7. It is very basic when compared to its free alternatives, but is built-in antivirus protection.
  1. Improved task Management: Windows 8 is slightly improved in task management also. When the user moves any file, a graph is displayed representing transfer rate. There's also an option for pause. The task manager is also modified and is split into apps and background processes.
  2. Hyper: The new OS comes with Hyper-V, a powerful replacement for Windows Virtual PC that you can use to run multiple guest operating systems simultaneously. Great for developers and IT professionals.
  3. Storage Spaces: Windows 8 lets you use multiple connected disks (of any size) to create a pool of storage, which is treated as a single location with its own drive letter. If you start to run out of space you can simply connect another drive to the pool.
  4. Lock Screen & Picture Password: With this version of Windows you have the option to use a picture lock screen similar to that of a Smartphone. This is the new alternative to the traditional typed password or no log in at all.
  5. Device compatibility: Microsoft has designed Windows 8 to work on different devices - it's not just for your PC. No matter whether the device is a 27-inch PC, 15-inch laptop or a 10-inch tablet, Windows 8 will adapt to that device for flawless compatibly.

6 reasons to buy Galaxy Y

Do you want a reason to buy Galaxy Y? Well, we have six. They are:

reasons to buy galaxy Y
1. Best android phone under 10k range(INR): Galaxy Y is recommended as the best Android phone available  under 10 k range. It is available at price 7.3k(approx.), such a wonderful smartphone at this price was just targeted for young consumers. I  think that you are getting something better than expected at this price point.
2. Upgradable to latest version of android: This is one of the major reasons to buy galaxy y. Samsung Galaxy Y runs on 2.3.6 version(Gingerbread) of Android OS, which is not available at this price easily. Many other phones below 10k just provide 2.1(Froyo) or 2.2(Éclairs) version of android OS, but galaxy Y is  an Exception. Not only this but is also upgradable to the latest version Ice-cream Sandwich of Android OS, which is just impossible in such less cost. Normally, to experience the Ice-cream Sandwich you have to pay above 15k.(INR)
3. Best features: Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 is fully loaded with best features. Very responsive 3" touch screen, 832 MHZ Processor, 3.5G, Wi-Fi, GPS, high speed internet, multi-touch, proximity sensors, motion sensors, digital compass, 2MP camera, long battery backup, and much more. There are so much galaxy Y advantages. I think these are good reasons to buy galaxy Y.
4. Samsung And Galaxy Brand: Samsung has earned the trust of the people by providing quality products and quality services in the past years, that's why it is  the no.1 smartphone manufacturer in the world. And S5360 also belongs to the Galaxy Family, which itself makes clear that what quality phone it must be.
5. Good public response: Public response is a major factor for a product.  No Doubt, public only responses to good products. And in our (galaxy Y) case, huge public response is recorded. That’s why these days Galaxy Y is so popular.
6. Rich Look: This would be another good reason among reasons to buy galaxy Y. S5360 has been perfectly designed and had got extremely rich looks, just like other phones of galaxy series have. The phone has just single button and rest two are feather touch buttons, giving an iPhone feeling. The phone looks very costly.
So these were the 6 super reasons to buy the new Galaxy Y. In short, Samsung Galaxy Y is best suitable smartphone for those people who are in search for better smartphone experience in below 10k range.

Create logo in PowerPoint

So you are here to learn how to create fantastic logos in PowerPoint itself. Can anyone think of creating logos in PowerPoint, instead of using good "Logo creating" software easily available? In fact, PowerPoint is not specialized to create Logo, But by using little creativity in you, you can Really Create amazing and rich logos. So following are the steps to create logos in PowerPoint:

1. First of all, you should think about your logo's text and of what type it should look like. One should imagine many models of logo related to its topic. If it's about any brand, you should prefer any descent designs. If your logo needs to convey any type of feel to the viewer, so you should design your logo of that type. Example- if its "HOTWHEELS," it should have fire to make the logo more realistic.
2.Once you have decided what type of logo you want, then you can now start constructing it, on the base of your imagination. Open the PowerPoint 2010, and in a fresh slide, insert text box and type the logo text there. Make its font size large enough(say 96) so that your logo image will also be huge. Advantage of this is that once your original logo image is larger than when you more enlarge it, then it doesn’t pixelate, and when you shorten it, it gets clearer quality. After font size, choose a suitable font to display, that can convey what your logo is trying to tell. Example- for conveying coolness you can use chiller font OR for giving creative touch to your logo you can use Bradley Hand ITC or Segoe Script type fonts.

3. Now Your Logo is ready, but just needed to be garnished. For making logo rich(Rich logos are generally descent), we have to give colors to our logo. For that, you can change font color to your desired font color. You can have different colors for different letters(as shown in picture), or different color for different words. After you have colored your text you can make your text color gradient for really giving a rich look. You can do this by going to format section>>text fill>>gradient and choose your favorite gradient. You can click on more gradients there for advance gradients.

4.  Your logo is created. Now you just have to right click on text object and select "save as picture" option. Though you can add many more effects to your logo to make it awesome. You can give it background color, or you can also give shadow. You can make it 3D as well, you can give it reflection, make it glassy. You can bevel it, glow it and many much more effects can be added. You can find all these effects in PowerPoint 2010. You need to be little expertise with the software to make a more fantastic logo. With some practice, you can make almost all kinds of logos in PowerPoint itself.

5.  Below are some example images of logos that I had created in PowerPoint 2010.You can also create these for practice.

Aakash vs. Ubislate 7

Having Doubts about Aakash & Ubislate 7? Which one would be better for me? What are the major differences between them? If yes, you are not alone. Many people are confused between the two most cost-efficient & cheapest tablet of the world. Until the release of upgraded  version of the cheapest tablet "Aakash",millions of people placed thier order for Aakash, but after the release of the upgraded version of Aakash, named as "Ubislate 7" or "Aakash 2",most of the people are now facing a bit confusion in choosing the best one for them. For those, who are one of them, below is a detailed post on the specification of both the tabs. The major doubt which many people may have is, Aakash tab & Ubislate 7 have the same features like each other apart from processor's speed & GPRS.

Before mentioning the differences between the two tablets, I would like to describe first about each of two tablets in brief, because there are still few people  unaware of these:

What is Aakash?

"Aakash" is tablet computer attracting millions of people's attention, due to its amazingly low price. In fact, it is currently the cheapest tablet of the world, produced by the British company Datawind, and manufactured by Indian-based company Quad. Aakash runs under android 2.2 operating system.

What is Ubislate 7?

Ubislate 7(or Aakash 2 or Ubislate 7+) is an improved version Aakash tab. It is loaded with some new features. Ubislate like Aakash, is also produced by Datawind company. This new version of Aakash is a bit costly than Aakash. Ubislate 7 will be launching in April 2012.It runs under android 2.3 operating system.

Aakash vs. Ubislate 7

After examining above table one would easily figure out which one is better for him/her. In most of the aspects, Ubislate 7  is upgraded and thus is better than Aakash.  I hope  most of your doubts would be clear by now, but if still any remaining than you are always welcome to comment's section. My advice is to pre-book Ubislate 7 because it has the more advanced features than Aakash tab in  very low price (and you have to pay just a little more than that of Aakash)

Basics of Computers

There are numerous definitions of computer, but I had defined it by classifying it in three different difficulty levels,
they are:

Easy definition: Computers are man-made machines which are able to perform tasks very quickly, efficiently and               effectively. They can store large amount of information and can process them.

General definition:  A computer is an electronic device that manipulates information, or "data." It has the ability to store, retrieve, and process data. You can use a computer to type documents, send email, and browse the internet. You can also use it to handle spreadsheets, accounting, database management, presentations, games, and more.

Standard definition(Wikipedia): A computer is a programmable machine designed to automatically carry out a sequence of arithmetic or logical operations. The particular sequence of operations can be changed readily, allowing the computer to solve more than one kind of problem.

For beginners computers are like a mystery, but computers aren't  so mysterious  as they think. Basically, all computers  consist of two basic parts:
  1. Computer Hardware
  1. Computer Software

Computer Hardware: Hardware is any component of your computer that can be physically seen and touched, or we can say that collectively, the electronic, electrical and mechanical equipment that makes up a computer system is called Computer hardware  . For e.g. the monitor, the keyboard, printers, USB, etc.

Computer Software: Software is a set of instructions that tell your computer what to do and how to do. They govern the operations of computers and make hardware run. Some e.g. are : games, calculator, paint, MS PowerPoint 2010, etc.

Types of Computers: Most of the people when think of a computer, the image that comes into their minds is  either of desktop pc or laptops, but the reality is that computers comes in various shapes and sizes and are designed to perform various types of tasks in our lives. e.g. calculator, ATM machines, mobiles, etc.
Well, mainly types of computers are : Desktop Computers, Laptops, Tablets Computers, Mobile Phones, Game Console, TV, Servers, PC and Macs.

Parts of a Computers: Almost everybody has seen  a desktop computer in today's world, and know that a computer is not a single entity, but it is a system of many parts working together . These parts of a computer is nothing but the hardware of computer. Many of the parts of computer can be classified into two categories: 1.Input devices
2.Output devices

Input Devices: These are the devices that enable the users to enter and manipulate the information on a computer. e.g. Keyboard, mouse, scanner, microphones, light pen, webcam, etc.
Output Devices: These devices gives you information from computer in form of sound or sight, sometimes touch also. e.g. Monitor, speakers, printers ,etc.
Storage devices: These devices store your information in the a of metal or plastic disc. It preserves your information or data even when your computer if turned off.  e.g. Compact Disc (CD), DVD Floppy Disk, Hard Disk, Memory cards.
Some More Devices: Modem, CD & DVD drives, processors, motherboard, PCI Slots, Hard Drive, Floppy Drive, etc.

Working of Computers: All computers works in a systematic way. To  understand, we can say they follow up the I-P-O Cycle i.e. computers want INPUT that can be PROCESSED to give the desired OUTPUT. In brief a computer works in three stages, Input stage, Processing stage and Output stage. For Inputs, computer rely on its input devices and for output computer make use of output devices. But for processing computer has two main units namely ALU(Arithmetic Logical Unit) & CU(Control Unit). For deep knowledge of working of Computers refer to my article Working of Computers.

Operating System: The most important program that runs on a computer is operating system. Every general-purpose computer must have an operating system to run other programs. Operating systems perform basic tasks, such as recognizing input from the keyboard, sending output to the display screen, keeping track of files and directories on the disk, and controlling peripheral devices such as disk drives and printers.
For large systems, the operating system has even greater responsibilities and powers. It is like a traffic cop -- it makes sure that different programs and users running at the same time do not interfere with each other. The operating system is also responsible for security, ensuring that unauthorized users do not access the system.

Need of Computers: Today, almost in every field Computers are used as per there required needs. This is truth that the today world's minute data work to biggest data works are being operated by the help of computers. This is because computers make there work easy, quick, and effective. From big construction models to small data handling of schools re dependent on computers. They are used in homes, offices, banks, shops, companies, etc. And now the situation is that no one can reimagine the world without computers, but no need to worry about the world without computers because computers are forever and continuously progressing everyday. Computers are the best invention till now, as today many of the inventions and discovery are just because of computers.in short, the world really needs computers.

Important Terms Related to Computers:
  1. Bits: At a basic level, all computer data is just a series of 0s and 1s. Each of these is referred to as a “binary digit”, for which “bit” is just an abbreviation. A byte is (generally) a collection of eight bits, so called because of the pun with bit and bite. Similarly a collection of four bits – half a byte – is sometimes called a “nybble”.
In order to refer to large numbers of bits and bytes, various prefixes are used, as in :
1 kilobyte = 1024 (or 1000) bytes
1 megabyte = 1024 (or 1000) kilobytes
1 gigabyte = 1024 (or 1000) megabytes
1 terabyte = 1024 (or 1000) gigabytes
1 petabyte = 1024 (or 1000) terabytes
  1. Internet: The Internet is the network of computers we’re all familiar with. It’s quite common for the terms “Internet” and “World Wide Web” to be used interchangeably, but these aren’t actually the same thing. The Internet is essentially the wiring that allows computers all over the world to communicate. The World Wide Web is a system that operates via this wiring. Web pages are transmitted via Internet connections but there is more to the Internet than just the web. Many other types of data travel across the Internet too, for example email.
  2. Bandwidth, broadband: Bandwidth is an indication of how quickly data travels along a connection. The greater the bandwidth, the faster data will be sent and received. Broadband is a rather vague term that refers to bandwidth somewhere above that of an old dial-up modem, although there is no precise definition of the term. Broadband connections are generally “always on”, unlike modem connections. There are various technologies which provide “broadband” speeds – such as ADSL, cable, satellite etc.
  3. Modem: The word modem was originally coined in the days when computers communicated by converting numbers into sounds that could then be transmitted over a regular telephone line. At each end you needed a “modulator” to generate the sounds to transmit and a “demodulator” to convert received sounds back into numbers. From “Modulator/Demodulator” came the word modem.
With modern digital communication, no conversion to and from audible sounds is required, but even so it’s common to hear people talking about “broadband modems” or “ADSL modems” when referring to devices providing broadband connectivity. Strictly speaking, such devices are not modems at all as they communicate digitally but the word has stuck; its meaning has shifted to refer to digital devices as well.
  1. Virus, Trojan, spyware, worm, malware:
These terms are often confused, although they have distinct meanings.
A virus is a piece of software that can copy itself and which attaches itself to some other program in order to survive and replicate. It may have some malicious intent or it may exist simply to reproduce. A worm is similar but it can exist independently; it doesn’t need to attach to a separate program. A Trojan – or Trojan Horse – is a piece of software that gains access to a computer by pretending to be benign or by hiding within some innocent-looking application. The name is obviously derived from the wooden horse employed by the Greek army during the Trojan Wars. Spyware is software that secretly monitors computer activity, attempting to gain private information without the computer user knowing.
By and large, all of the above will have some malicious intent – to harm data, spy on computer activity and so forth. Malware is a general term for all such programs – it simply means any software, of whatever sort, written with a malicious intent. Viruses are generally malware but there is more to malware than just viruses.
  1. Reboot: To switch a computer off and on again, allowing its operating system and programs to be reloaded. Note that this is not the same as placing a computer into standby/hibernate and then resuming. A reboot requires that all software is completely reloaded.
The term derives from “bootstrap”, as in the phrase “to pull oneself up by one’s bootstraps”, because of the similarity to that seemingly impossible act (as a computer can’t run without first loading some software but must be running before any software can be loaded).
  1. Cookie: A small text file sent to your computer by a web site you have visited. These can be very useful in that they can allow the web site to recognize who you are when you return. Cookies cannot store viruses or other threats, although they can be used to track your activity across different web sites in order to provide, for example, “targeted” advertisements.
  2. Spam:
Unsolicited email messages sent out in bulk and generally commercial in nature. In fact the term is used more widely these days to refer to such messages in a variety of places, not just on email – for example comments on blogs.
The origin of this sense of the word spam is unclear.
  1. CAPTCHA:
CAPTCHA checks are the strings of letters and numbers that have to be typed in on some web pages before something can be saved. They exist because, although humans find interpreting these strings relatively easy, computers do not. Setting up these checks therefore blocks an automated process – such as one generating spam – from using the page, whereas a human is still able to.
The acronym CAPTCHA actually stands for “Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart” – a rather contrived way of arriving at an acronym that sounds like the word “capture”.
  1. Web Browser: A program you use to look at, and navigate between, pages on the World Wide Web. Examples include Internet Explorer and Firefox although there are many others. Again, people sometimes refer to web browsers as “the Internet”, whereas they really only provide the means to view pages on the web.

Strengths And weakness of a Computer:  Above in "Need Of Computers", I told that today every field from schools and offices to banks and hotels, every one are switching to use of computers. But a natural questions arises WHY?
And the simple answer is due to strengths of the computers that listed below:

Strengths:
  1. Speed: Speed is the major strength of computers. They can perform various task simultaneously very quickly that may take several days to be completed by humans. A modern computer can execute millions of instructions just within a second!
  2. High Storage Capacity: This is another  benefit that computers can store huge amount of data or information in a vey small space. A CDROM of 4.7 inch diameter can store all 33 volumes of Britannica encyclopedia and will still have space to store more information. Moreover, today's DVD can store several CD in it.
  3. Accuracy: Computers are absolutely accurate in calculations and comparisons provided that hardware does not malfunctions.
  4. Reliability: unlike humans, Computers are machines and machines(computers) never get tired or bored.
  5. Versatility: Computers can perform repetitive jobs efficiently, can solve labor problem, or  can do hazardous jobs in environment that is not suitable for humans. They can work in areas where human brain can err for instance observing motion of very fast moving articles. They can work with different types of dat and information like graphic, audio, visual, characters, etc.

Weakness:
  1. Lack of Decision Making Power: Computers cannot decide anything on their own. They do not posses this power which makes humans still better than computers.
  2. IQ Zero: Computers are dumb machines having Zero IQ . They nee to be told each and every step, however minute it may be.
